The Battle of the Nile, August 1798. The British ships are seen approaching the French line from the perspective of Peuple Souverain, the fifth ship in the French line. Nelson’s jury-rigged HMS Vanguard is the prominent ship on the right, whilst on the far left the leading British ships find the waters deep enough to wrap around the French vessels.

Yours Is Waiting.

If this work caught your eye, a commission allows us to create something with the same spirit — a vessel, a stretch of water, a moment in maritime history that means something to you.

You don’t need to have all the details. Many commissions begin with nothing more than a name or a memory. We’ll work out the subject, the setting, and the composition together.

Commissions from £1,450, all-inclusive. See the full commission journey.

Leave your details and I’ll reply personally, usually within one working day.
