Painted on location at Ocean Village marina on Saturday morning before the boat show opened to the public. The marina is quiet — exhibitors' boats sit motionless at their pontoons, event flags hang still in the calm air, and the sun just starting to hit the water. A different atmosphere entirely from the afternoon paintings.
This is the third of three panels painted across the 2026 boat show weekend, and the only one made in the early morning. The soft, diffused light produces a cooler palette of pale blues and greys, with the blue yacht and flags picked out in higher saturation. Painted in one session on panel over about 2 hours.
