The S80 is part of Princess Yachts' sportbridge range, built at their yard in Plymouth, Devon. At 80 feet she combines the volume of a flybridge cruiser with the sleek, low profile of a sport yacht. Her deep-V hull is designed for open-water cruising at speed, and the aggressive rake of her windscreen and superstructure gives her a purposeful forward stance.
The painting was created on canvas board with a limited palette emphasising the early morning light, the hull rendered in detail against the softer, atmospheric treatment of the coastline beyond. Signed lower left, dated lower right.
